What to Expect
Starting therapy is simpler than you think. Here's how it works:
Give Us a Call
Call (234) 271-5066 or email us. We'll answer your questions and get you scheduled fast.
Get a Physician Order
For insurance coverage, ask your pediatrician for a therapy order. Fax it to (833) 972-1925 or email it to us. Private pay? No order needed.
Your First Evaluation
A therapist will do a thorough assessment of your child's strengths and challenges. Plan for about an hour. Parents are a key part of the process.
Your Child's Plan
We'll build a personalized therapy plan with goals that matter to your family, then get to work in fun, play-based sessions.
Are We In-Network With Your Plan?
Here's the honest answer up front, so you don't have to call to find out.
We're in-network with
- Aetna
- Anthem BCBS
- Cigna
- Medical Mutual of Ohio
- CareSource (Medicaid)
- The Health Plan
- Tricare (Physical Therapy only)
Coverage still varies by plan. We'll verify your specific benefits for you before your first visit. Just ask.
Not in-network (yet)
- AultCare
- Buckeye Health Plan
- SummaCare
- UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
Families with these plans often still work with us. There are two paths:
- Private pay. No physician order needed, and we'll tell you our current rates up front, with no surprises.
- Single-case agreement. In some situations we can ask your insurer to authorize care with us, particularly when there isn't a comparable in-network provider near you.
Give us a call and we can go over our private pay rates and whether a single-case agreement is worth pursuing with your plan.
Insurance networks change. This list was last updated July 2026. Please call (234) 271-5066 to confirm your current coverage.

Are you in-network with AultCare?
Because AultCare is based right here in Canton we hear this one a lot. We are not currently in-network with them.
That doesn't mean we can't help. Many families see us through private pay. No physician order is required, and we'll quote you our current rates up front. In some situations we can also request a single-case agreement with your insurer, especially when there isn't a comparable in-network provider nearby.
Call (234) 271-5066 and we can discuss which option might work for your family.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Do you offer counseling, behavioral therapy or ABA?
No. We are not a mental health, counseling, psychology or ABA provider, and we don't do behavioral testing or psychological evaluations.
BeKids provides three things: speech-language therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. In plain terms, we help with talking and understanding, eating and swallowing, movement and strength, sensory regulation, handwriting and daily living skills.
If counseling or behavioral services are what your family needs, call us anyway at (234) 271-5066 and we'll point you toward someone who does it well. We'd rather spend two minutes helping you find the right place than have you keep searching.
Do you work with children who have autism?
Yes, and this is a common point of confusion, so here's the honest distinction.
Many of the children we see are on the autism spectrum. We support them through speech and language (including AAC devices and social communication), occupational therapy (sensory regulation, fine motor, self-care) and physical therapy (coordination, strength, motor planning). We also treat feeding and oral-motor difficulties, which are common alongside autism.
What we do not provide is ABA, behavioral therapy, or autism diagnosis. If you're looking specifically for those, we're not your clinic, and we'll happily tell you that on the phone rather than after an evaluation.
What therapy services do you offer?
- Physical Therapy (PT)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Speech-Language Therapy (SLP)
Do you offer feeding therapy for infants and babies with dysphagia?
Yes. We work with babies and children who are having a hard time eating, drinking or swallowing safely, including children with dysphagia.
Every family arrives somewhere different, so we start by understanding what mealtimes look like for you now and what you want them to look like, then work toward that together.
Please note: for your child’s safety, if there is a known or active aspiration risk, we may ask for a recent instrumental swallow study from a hospital before starting treatment.
Do you diagnose dyslexia?
